In my wildest dreams I couldn’t understand how on earth this Warren Jeff maniac could get away with this amazing array of rape, incest, abuse, teach it to a willing congregation of men who happily went along with this misogynistic way of life for so long as to program young innocent women into fearing for their lives. Thinking that if they left they would go to hell, and all the world is evil, that they will be tainted with no-one to love them. So give up your daughters to these degenerates, let them do what they will, and Heaven is yours for the asking. Please God, don’t let this go unpunished. These men should be held accountable, each and every one of them. Let the world see this indignation that we all feel, I hope our voices will be heard all over the world, that will not stand for this wrong being done to our women. Hopefully the Texas justice system will prevail.
This was reported on Fox News Channel website:
The renegade Mormon splinter group requires girls at puberty to enter into polygamous marriages with much older men and produce children, authorities say. The sect also teaches children to fear the outside world, including the very authorities who removed them until a court hearing Thursday that will help determine their future.
“You’re taught to fear everyone and everything,” said Cooke, herself a 16-year-old bride.
In 2003 and 2004, Jeffs, the spiritual leader of an estimated 6,000 followers in two adjoining towns along the Utah-Arizona line, plucked children under the age of 6 to bring to Texas, some without their parents, former sect member Isaac Wyler said.
“Over age 6 they were too contaminated for the world to be of use to God,” said Wyler, who still lives in Colorado City, Arizona, and has 38 siblings. “He picked the ones that would be the most obedient, the ones that would be qualified to go to Zion.”
Authorities raided the Eldorado ranch April 3 after a girl from the clan made a whispered telephone call for help to a family violence shelter. The 16-year-old, who indicated she was a few weeks’ pregnant, said her 50-year-old husband beat and raped her. The girl has not yet been identified among the 416 children and may not even be among them.
In the call, the girl said that sect members warned her that if she ever left, outsiders would hurt her and force her to cut her hair, wear makeup and have sex with many men.
That was a small excerpt, but there is so much more. My heart goes out to these innocents. Maybe now we can set a precedent, go after all these sects and end it once and for all.

Having read some of the books written previously by some of the women that have escaped, the media is only telling the tip of the iceberg. In todays society it is shocking that women and children can be treated in such a derogatory and degrading way.

I agree whole-heartedly, Julie. Could you tell me a book or two on the subject? I would love to check that out. I just can’t understand how someone could get so brow-beaten enough to subjugate themselves to this, unless they live in total fear for their lives or their souls, according to their masters, for they seem to be slaves. I hear a lot of the media saying the problem is the poor mothers needing to be with their children, but what if when they are with them, they only terrorize them even more, threaten them if they say anything? I say let them be separated for a while, and watch and see what finally comes out in the wash.

The last one I read was called ‘escape’ by Carolyn Jessop. A really good read, but I found the interesting part of the poligamy and how if in that environment it is all that is believed.

Julie, I appreciate that info, I will check that book out. I am not really sure what it must be like in that type of environment, however, I realize that we all live in our own environment, and we are a product of that. However, I do know that people who have lived in a certain living condition for all of their lives do only know one way of believing. Especially if there is fear of reprisal, however subtle. But it is nefarious. It is created and refined by the leaders to a fine point. Throughout the ages we humans have been subjugated to this kind of hypocrisy, in one form or another. In the name of God, or country, or whatever we hold dearest to us. Look at North Korea. Have you noticed how the population weeps in front of the statue of Kim Jung Il’s father’s statue? It is out of complete fear. They have been taught nothing less, other than he is their Benevolent Father, the one who, even though dead, is to be revered, has been the cause of their suffering and pain. They do not see this, for they know nothing else. Ignorance is not bliss, and the ones who do escape, begin to see the truth and the lies that they have been enslaved to. Human beings cannot, will not, once exposed to freedom, forego the most strongest desires within themselves, we’ve seen it time and time again. Not all will succumb to this, but the ones who do, will see what is inherently borne within us all. These women included, and their children. God willing.

buenotc,
I saw that information, and I’m shocked that this woman did this under false pretenses. I read up about this woman, she seems to be out there. However, it doesn’t really stop the outrage that has occured in this cult. I do however, believe that she should be held accountable for her illegal actions. She is wrong for misrepresenting herself, I heard the 911 tape she gave, it is reprehensible. No excuse for that, whatsoever. Now on to the issue that was uncovered, however it came about. These men have a lot to answer for. Let’s see how it plays out, and thanks for your comment, I appreciate it very much. There are always two sides to every coin. We must watch and see, and be objective. But always stand up for what is right. Pandora’s Box has been opened, and there is no closing it.

legally, even though she lied. It turned out to be true so she cannot be charged for making a false report to authories. The defense said they will try to have all the evidence gleaned from the raid to be thrown out. Unfortunately for them the supreme court Virginia v. Moore see link->http://www.supremecourtus.gov/opinions/07pdf/06-1082.pdf ruled last week that even if the arrest, seizure and search was illegal(e.g the officer used racial profiling). Any evidence resulting that revealed culpability of a criminal act. The evidence cannot be thrown out or the case cannot be dismissed, unless that is specifically spelled out in the individual state’s constitution. In the interest of space, i will say the defence motion will be thrown out and the trial will be difficult(possibly years). I have other predictions but i need to stop at this point.

The enormity of this issue is far reaching for the whole world to see. If there is doubt about the initial accusation, then I am sure that other issues will be raised by the DNA and removal of so many women and children. These souls only know that lifestyle, and are apparently preached to that all others who are not part of that are sinners and evil. I think brainwashing and control come to mind……..

I agree, buenotc..this will be years in the doing, I thank you for the info, as well, and yes, we could go on, and on. When and if you do have the time, I’d love to hear your predictions, however. Julie, amen. I hope it is all exposed, and the whole world to see. Let’s watch. I’m watching the rantings right now of the Right Reverend Wright. He’s in the middle of his speechifiying….help us all!
